Nile Safari Lodge

Nile Safari Lodge

This lodge is in a great location right on the river. It is located on a rim south of the Nile river (just 10 minutes from the ferry that crosses the Nile to the northern side of the park where most of the wildlife viewing is). It offers spectacular views over the Nile river, both from your room and terrace as from the central lounge area. The rooms are spacious, with an inside veranda room and an outside terrace, both providing splendid views over the Nile river.

Nile Safari Lodge currently has ten rooms, which include 5 wooden chalets and 5 luxury tents, all fitted with en-suite rooms in Murchison Falls , comfortable and airy rooms perfectly designed to maximize the experience. The balcony of each room allows you to enjoy a chilled sundowner or early morning tea and coffee served by your personal waiter.

The beds are very comfortable, firm but soft enough for a comfortable sleep. Showering is a nice adventure since there is no hot water system available. You order a shower at a certain time and then a drum on top of your lodge is filled with water at the warm temperature. This provides you with a nice warm shower.

The restaurant provides really good food, with a few choices (meat, fish, vegetarian) for dinner and some nice choices for breakfast.

Safari Destinations

Zanzibar Beach

Just like Tanzania, Zanzibar is three hours in the advance of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+3). It doesn't operate daylight saving time, and consequently there's no time difference between Zanzibar's summer and winter months.

Discover Uganda

Uganda is a truly “authentic” safari destination - definitely less sophisticated than Tanzania or Kenya in terms of infrastructure and not in the same “big game” league, but equally untouched and as genuine as Africa gets.
Uganda’s gorillas, chimps, birds and the wider range of special-interest attractions (from butterflies to orchids) makes it a perfect match for first timers and seasoned African visitors alike.

Visit Tanzania

Tanzania home to Africa's most dramatic and famous features.  Fantastic wildlife, stunning scenery and idyllic beaches Tanzania is virtually unrivalled in terms of wildlife population and diversity. From the biggest African plains, the Serengeti, to the highest African mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro, to the deepest African Lake Tanganyika.
Pemba offers classic tropical beaches to those wanting to get away from the crowds, whilst the Selous Game Reserve never disappoints those looking for lion and elephant!
