Due to its location, between the Murchison Falls in the north and Queen Elizabeth in the south, the lodge is a perfect stop over for tourist in transit between the two national parks. It lies overlooking a great expanse of Lake Albert and offers a spectacular view of the Blue Mountains of the Congo. The 12 luxury cottages are constructed entirely out of local material, with great African architectural design; and in a silent Savannah, the lodge provides a perfect atmosphere for good accommodation in the African wilderness. The gentle and flat Savannah plains that surround the lodge are filled with various species of wildlife, such as Uganda Kob, Bushbuck, Oribi, Warthog, duiker, Waterbuck and Buffalo among others. Amazing activities and experiences like bush dinners, guided nature walks, fossil hunts, horseback rides through the reserve and fishing tours can be arranged enjoyed.
