The itinerary for Gorilla trek Rwanda and Uganda Queen Elizabeth Game Safari:

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali Rwanda
Upon your arrival at Kigali airport, you will be welcomed by our professional tour guide who will then transfer you to Step town Hotel in Kigali, overnight Step Town Motel.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour  / Drive to Volcanoes National Park
This morning you will go for a city tour visiting the craft village, and the genocide memorial among other attractions.  After this excursion, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park located in the North of Ruhengeri via indulating and beautiful terraced hills showing a clear picture of the general landscape and altitude of Rwanda. Arrive at the Park for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
This morning you will have an early breakfast, the we will transfer you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed and assigned a gorilla group. The breathtaking gorilla trekking, in which you follow in the footsteps of the rare and critically endangered mountain gorilla, starts in the foothills of the Virungas with eye-catching views in all directions. Gorilla trekking through the forest, the experienced trackers will soon bring you up close to one gorilla group. During the 1 hour of interacting with the mountain gorillas, you will get to know about their daily life, and feeding pattern. Have lunch at the lodge and later relax up at the lodge from the tiresome and exciting activity.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This morning you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. Game drive in the Ishasha area of the park searching for the tree climbing lions and other game like the elephants, buffaloes and antelope families.  Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth park/ Launch cruise on Kazinga Channel
Very early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains to try to find what could have missed the previous day. Lunch will be served at the lodge and after you will head to the jetty along kazinga channel for the afternoon boat cruise. This cruise offers you chances of viewing animals like: hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and many other wildlife which flop the channel for drinking water.

Day 6: Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast drive to the northern bank of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the kasenyi plains in search of the wild animals which include: Elephants, Buffalos, and the wild cats, Savanna birds and deferent species of antelopes such water buck Uganda kobs among others. After lunch you will drive to Kibale Forest National Park arriving at your lodge in the evening.

Day 7: Chimp Tracking in Kibale Forest.
This morning after breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters to join other trackers for a briefing and after you will be taken for chimpanzee tracking, through Kibale Forest National Park. During this walk you will have chances of seeing many of the 13 primate species native to Kibale Forest National Park. After lunch you will drive to Bigodi for a swamp walk. This wetland belongs to community neighboring the park.

Day 8: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park
Drive to Murchison Falls National Park through small towns, villages and great views of the escarpment arriving late evening.

Day 9: Game Drive Murchison Falls park /Boat cruise to bottom of falls
Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
After an early morning cup of tea, transfer to the northern section popular known as paraa for your morning game drive that will provide you an opportunity of spotting wild game that may include, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, hippos and if lucky cats such as lions and leopards. Return to the lodge for a lunch break before proceeding to the pier for your two hour boat cruise to the bottom of the falls to witness how river Nile squeezes itself in a narrow gorge before exploding out producing an experience of a lifetime.

Day 10: Game Drive in Murchison Falls Park
Morning game drive and afternoon game drive

Day 11: Transfer to Kampala/ Visit Top of Murchison Falls
After breakfast you will drive to Kampala on your way visit the top of the falls.  Visit Zziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking on the way to Kampala. Overnight Forest Cottages
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 12: Drive to Lake Mburo
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the equator, check in at the lodge, afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight Rwakobo Rock
Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 13: Drive to Kigali Rwanda
After breakfast drive back to Kigali, check in at Step town Motel for overnight.
Meal plan: Breakfast and lunch

Day 14: Departure
Drop off at the Kigali Airport to connect with your flight out of Kigali.
