Gorilla Tracking, Game Safari and Whitewater Rafting itinerary:

Day 1 : Arrival
Upon arrival at Entebbe International airport you will be met by our representative who will drive you to your accommodation in Entebbe.  The representative will then give you a short brief on your safari.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls/ Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
This morning we start our journey in Uganda and drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest national park, with an area of 3840km². It lies in the core of the Murchison Falls Conservation Area. This impressive park protects a chunk of untamed African savannah bisected by the mighty river Nile.

The dramatic Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below strikes an exhilarating impression on all 5 senses.

On your way to Murchison Falls you will visit the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking, Later proceed to Murchison Falls visiting the top of the falls en-route.

Day 3: Game Drive / Boat Cruise
Today youwill head out for an early morning game drive in the northern bank.  Later return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.

In the afternoon you will go for a launch / boat trip on the Nile from to the bottom of the one of greatest falls in the world– Murchison Falls. On the launch cruise expect game like Crocodiles, Hippos, Buffaloes, elephants, and plenty of water birds on the shores.

Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest
After breakfast, you will drive to Kibale National Park with lunch enroute. Kibale National Park contains what is probably the most accessible of Uganda’s large forests and is the best place in Uganda for chimpanzee viewing. Your arrival in Kibale forest will be late in the afternoon.
Overnight Primate Lodge / Crater Valley Lodge

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trek in Kibale Forest Game safari/ Launch cruise on Kazinga Channel
After breakfast you will transfer to the Kanyachu park headquarters for chimp tracking, return to the lodge for an early lunch.  in the afternoon you will drive to Queen Elizabeth Game park.  Game drive on your way to the Lodge.

Overnight Kasenyi Safari Camp
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 6: Game safari/ Launch cruise on Kazinga Channel
After breakfast the exploration of the park continues with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi area of Queen Elizabeth Game park.  Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch.
In the afternoon there will a Launch Cruise on the Kazinga Channel.  On this cruise you will spot different kinds of wildlife drinking water along the shores.
In the evening if time allows, there will be another game drive.

Day 7: Drive to Bwindi

 

Enjoy a game drive as you make your way out of the Rift Valley through the Kigezi Highlands of southwestern Uganda. The scenery is increasingly more breathtaking as you drive up and down the Kigezi hills. You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, in time for lunch. Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world.

Day 8: First Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast this morning you will go to the park headquarters ready for gorilla trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the park guides. Ensure to carry along with you a light rain jacket, packed lunch and at least 2 litres of drinking water, snacks.
The guides will lead you inside the jungle to trek for an allocated group of gorillas. The gorilla tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs

Day 9: Second Gorilla Trekking
Today is dedicated for another Gorilla trek, we will ensure you will have another Gorilla family allocated for your comparison experiences. The afternoon will be spent on relaxation and sightseeing around your lodge Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs

Day 10: Fly from Bwindi to Entebbe the drive to Jinja
After morning breakfast head to the Kihihi airstrip to catch up your morning flight at 0945 arriving Entebbe 1125. You will be picked up on arrival at Entebbe for your onward transfer to Jinja with your lunch enroute. The afternoon is spent on sightseeing and relaxation.
Overnight The Haven
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 11: Full day Rafting then drive to Entebbe
After your morning breakfast, continue for rafting briefing, here you choose to raft in the paddle-powered boats for one of the wildest raft rides on the planet, or opt to be rowed downstream by our professional guides in the safety raft. After a buffet lunch you will hit a series of more wild rapids after the  rafting experience you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Overnight The Haven
Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 12: Departure
Leaisurely breakfast, after lunch drive to Kampala, visit craft shops then drive to Entebbe airport to connect with your flight out.
