Bakiga Lodge is part of Bakiga Community Project, a registered NGO in Uganda and a registered charity in the UK. We work across Kabale to help communities access water. As such, all profits of Bakiga Lodge are used to finance the water projects.

We are just a five minute drive to the Ruhija Gorilla trekking meeting point and from the start of birding guided walks.With stunning views across the valley onto Bwindi forest, the lodge is an ideal location to base your Gorilla trekking or bird viewing tour, while at the same time supporting community development.
