Kidepo Safari and Gorillas by Air

Day 01: Arrival
Our safari guide will pick you from Entebbe International airport for a transfer to the Serena Lake Victoria Hotel for overnight.

Day 02: Fly to Kidepo Valley National Park
Today you will fly in scheduled flight to Kidepo National Park.  Check in to the lodge and later go for a guided walk. These walk will enable you catch up with the next days activities.
Overnight Apoka Lodge
Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 03:Wildlife safari-community visit
This morning after breakfast, you will go for the wildlife safari in the Kidepo Park.  The driver guide will take you to the south-western part of the park (Narus valley) where you will be able to view one of the rugged Napore-Nyagea -mountain ranges. You will also enjoy the scenery of the Lokayot hills, range marks of Morungole.

Animals like lions zebras, elephants, giraffe, Eland, Oribi, Cheetah and many more as well as bird species like the famous hamerkop are seen while on the game drives.  After lunch you will be taken to pay visits to the Karimojong homesteads and their kraals to see and relate to their traditional customs, spears headdresses, jewellery, arrows, bows and many more. Day 04: Fly Kidepo - Entebbe
Morning game drive before your departure for Entebbe.  Later transfer to the airstrip to catch up the return flight back to Entebbe.

Day 05: Fly Entebbe-Bwindi
We will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for your transfer to Entebbe International Airport to connect with your scheduled flight to Bwindi. You can choose to go with a morning flight or with the afternoon flight. As you fly you will enjoy the arial views of lake Victoria and the beautiful changing landscape.

Upon your arrival to either Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip depending on which gorilla group you are trekking, you will be transferred by road to you Lodge.

Day 06: Bwindi Gorilla trekking
Early breakfst, transfer to park headquarters ready for your gorilla trekking adventure which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, picnic lunch.  The guides will lead you inside the jungle in this gorilla trekking adventure searching for the gorillas. The gorilla trekking may take between 2 and 6 hours but its well worth the effort.
Dinner and overnight Mahogany Springs / Engagi Lodge / Silverback gorilla

Optional activity this afternoon - that is if your trek ends early is the buhoma village walk.
The Buhoma Village Walk gives you a great opportunity to see how the people surrounding Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.  It also is a great way to support the local community in a direct way.

Day 07: Fly back to Entebbe
Transfer to the airstrip to catch your scheduled flight back to Entebbe.  Later connect with your international flight out of Entebbe.
